Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has contributed significantly in environmental monitoring and changed how we track the environment in a big way by making it possible to use real-time, data-driven, and innovative approaches for sustainable development. This article offers an extensive examination of intelligent IoT systems utilized for ecological monitoring, emphasizing on significant domains including air quality, water quality, soiland agriculture. IoT systems use linked sensing devices, communication networks, cloud-based computing, and sophisticated analytics to continually gather and analyze environmental information with great speed and precision. This research highlights the significance of enabling technologies, including sensor devices, wireless communicationstandards, big data analytics, and the amalgamation of traditional artificial intelligence (AI) and standard machine learning (ML), in augmenting the efficiency and capacity for expansion of IoT systems. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) for environmental monitoring mechanisms is a good way to deal with global environmental problems and encourage sustainability.
