GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

The International Journal of Arts, Commerce & Education (IJACE) invites original, high-quality research contributions in the fields of arts, commerce, and education. Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following categories of submissions:

  • Research Articles: Original and innovative research presenting clear objectives, well-defined methodology, significant results, and meaningful conclusions.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive and critical analysis of existing literature in a specific area of study.
  • Case Studies / Short Communications: Concise reports highlighting important findings, practical insights, or emerging issues.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the following specifications:

  • Language: English (clear and grammatically correct)
  • Format: MS Word document (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
  • Line Spacing: Double-spaced

Word Limits:

  • Research Articles: 4000–6000 words
  • Review Articles: Up to 8000 words

Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized in the following format:

  • Title Page: Title of the paper, author names, institutional affiliations, and corresponding author’s email address
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words covering objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions
  • Keywords: 4 to 6 relevant keywords for indexing
  • Introduction: Background of the study and research problem
  • Methodology / Materials: Methods, tools, and procedures used
  • Results and Discussion: Findings with proper analysis and interpretation
  • Conclusion: Summary of key findings and implications
  • References: Must follow APA or Chicago style with consistent formatting
  • Figures and Tables: Properly numbered and cited in the text with clear, descriptive captions and high-quality visuals

Citation and Plagiarism Policy

  • Proper citation of all sources is mandatory
  • Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism
  • All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software

Submission Process

  • Submit manuscripts via the journal submission portal or official email
  • Include a cover letter confirming originality, authorship, and exclusive submission

Peer Review Process

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process
  • Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts based on reviewer feedback
  • Final decision rests with the editorial board

Ethical Guidelines

  • Research must comply with ethical standards
  • Any conflict of interest must be disclosed
  • Funding sources (if any) should be properly acknowledged
